HARIS HAKA RESIC
Actor, musician, singer.

During his four years of study at the Academy of Performing Arts (ASU) in Sarajevo, Haris Haka Resic met Mladen Materic in 1986—first as a professor and later as a director. Materic is the founder of the company THÉÂTRE TATTOO, and their artistic collaboration has remained unbroken ever since.

Resic has participated in all of THÉÂTRE TATTOO’s productions since 1988, touring worldwide with the company. A great traveler, this multilingual actor-musician-singer took a break from his Tattoocareer to join the traveling tents of FOOTSBARN TRAVELLING THEATRE for a global tour.

Since 1993, he has been a resident of Toulouse, where THÉÂTRE TATTOO has been in residence at THÉÂTRE GARONNE since that same year. Over the years, he has collaborated artistically with René Gouzenne, Bernardo Sandoval, as well as theater companies such as L’UNIJAMBISTE THÉÂTRE (Limoges), PLEIN VENT (Chauvigny), LE PETIT THÉÂTRE DAKOTE (Montluçon), Cie GdRA (Christophe Rulhes & Julien Cassier), GRENIER DE TOULOUSE, CIE 111 / AURÉLIEN BORY, Cie OUI BIZARRE, and Cie LOUP-GAROU PARKING.

Alongside his theatrical work, in 1998, he founded the Toulouse-based band KOCKA NEBA, which has been invited to numerous festivals, including the preselection of Printemps de Bourges, Festival de la Cité in Lausanne, NOVART in Bordeaux, Tunel Art Festival in Istanbul, FESTIVOCE in Pigna (Corsica), and RIO LOCO in Toulouse.

He also composes music for the productions of THÉÂTRE TATTOO, FOOTSBARN TRAVELLING THEATRE, PLEIN VENT, and OUI BIZARRE(Toulouse).

Since 2016, he has been the singer and percussionist of the Toulouse-based band COLLECTIF LA BOHÈME.

He has acted in numerous short films, notably La HARDE by Kathy Sebbah, which was nominated for Best Short Film at the César Awards in 2009.

Additionally, he has taught theater at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse and Albi University.
