Selam, I'm Demet - a theatre fan, film junkie, and passionate role player! Even at 12, I knew: all's well that stage's well. While other children were playing outside, I was in the theatre club or working on my big breakthrough at drama school.

It came somehow in Istanbul - the city that delighted me with great theatres, drama courses, and a mixture of Turkish and American plays. I also worked in front of the camera: my own short films and small acting jobs earned me festival acclaim and a supporting role in the movie "Ölü Mevsim."

Now I'm studying filmmaking in Cologne, but the stage is still calling - drama queen through and through! When I'm not acting, I dance tango, play the piano, write poetry, or practice fencing because - why not? I aim to create stories that move people, put smiles on faces, and make tears flow.

I look forward to being part of projects that make the world a little bit more emotional and maybe even better :)
