For as long as I can remember, movies have always been a central element in my life. Be it my parents large collection of all sorts of old movies or the connetion i felt with entering another time, another world or life, anchored by the actors and actresses.
And at some point I looked, it might have been Gary Oldman, straight in the face (through the screen that is) and decided: "I want that too."
Granted, much has changed since that but not that passion, wanting to be a part of bringing a creative vision to life, like colour to a painter, and maybe, hopefully, definitely if it's down to me, add some of my own visions to screens big or small for some other small kid to later look at and spy in it something no one else would. That's the magic of film to me. That's what I want to do.
