My name is Manu Tavadze, a professionally trained actress based in Tbilisi, Georgia, open to both local and international opportunities. My experience includes classical drama, experimental contemporary theatre, and small roles in film.
I studied acting (BA) at Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University. Outside of university, I’ve had the privilege of playing Cordelia in King Lear and Medea in Medea (choreodrama), both at the Vaso Abashidze State New Theatre. Additionally, I’ve been collaboratively included in stage productions of experimental plays and playwriting, further expanding my artistic approach.
In addition to acting, I am trained in contemporary dance, which allows me to bring an added layer of physicality to my performances. I’m always seeking out projects that push boundaries and allow me to engage with diverse, complex characters.
I am fluent in Georgian, English and Russian, which enables me to work across different languages and cultural contexts.
