Júlia Bonjoch is a Spanish actress who, despite her youth, has made an important name for herself in the theater scene in Catalonia, especially in the musical theater genre, having participated in more than 60 theatrical productions to date.

A graduate of the prestigious Insititut de Teatre de Barcelona, Júlia made her professional debut in the mythical TV3 children’s program “Club Super 3”, being part of its musical group for 5 years along with other actresses such as Anna Castillo or Vicky Luengo, among others.

In addition to her beginnings in Catalan television, Júlia has worked in TV and cinema in productions such as “Drama” (Dir. Ginesta Guindal), “Cervantes contra Lope” (Dir. Manuel Huerga), “El día de mañana” (Dir. Mariano Barroso), “Contiguo” (Dir. Cintia Ballvé) or “Un novio para mi mujer” (Dir. Laura Mañá), among others.

She has also lent her voice as a dubbing actress in commercials, videogames and animated films as well known as “Onward”, by Pixar, and “Trolls 2”, by Dreamworks.

But it is in theater where she has obtained the greatest recognition, being awarded the Best Musical Performance Award at the Teatre Barcelona Awards, for her performance in the musical “Pegados”, and also nominated for the Butaca and Teatre Barcelona Awards for “Pegados” and “Rent”, respectively. In addition, she was also awarded Best Acting at the GATS Festival in Beijing for “Romeo and Juliet”.

Júlia Bonjoch has performed in plays as recognized by the general public as “Laly Simon”, by Sergi Belbel, “Casa Calores”, by Pere Riera, “La Jaula de las locas”, “Cantando bajo la lluvia”, “El Petit Príncep”, all three directed by Angel Llàcer or classics such as “Bodas de sangre”, “Romeo y Julieta” or “Rent”, among the more than 60 plays in which she has participated.

In addition, Júlia is a conservatory-trained cellist and pianist, and is also trained in dance and tap dance.
