Grégoire G. is a Swiss actor who trained as a theater actor at the Cours Florent in Brussels from 2019 to 2023. He moved between Belgium and Switzerland for various projects before settling back in Switzerland. With a rich and complex acting palette, Grégoire specializes in stage acting. Flexible, authentic and hard-working, Grégoire has developed a heightened sense for the stage and a particular accuracy that he brings to the table when called upon by the director. Through his work with different directors, Grégoire has juggled between male and female characters, strong and weak, allowing him to put himself in every posture to understand and reinterpret the psychology of the characters he embodies. With his powerful voice and undeniable stage presence, Grégoire is convincing in all the works he has performed in, moving from the classics (Le Cid, Les fourberies de Scapin, Macbeth) to more modern works (Combat de nègres et de chiens, Dans la solitude des champs de coton, La résistible ascension d'Arturo Ui, Tom à la ferme, Romulus le Grand). Grégoire strives to undertake extensive and precise research into the times and customs of the periods and characters he interprets.
When working on the set, Grégoire knows how to establish a climate that is as pleasant as it is demanding. He's a good listener, involved, with a keen eye for work and a great ability to keep his cool in all circumstances. He is appreciated by all the artistic and technical teams he has worked with.
Grégoire is also interested in writing and directing, having undertaken several works with his Belgian collective 55 heures du Mat', which he directed, and is currently writing his own play 'Les Amertumes', to be performed at the Théâtre du Passage in Neuchâtel in November 2024 under his own company La Cie des Livreurs.
