French actress and filmmaker based in Paris. Before turning to acting, Ophélie Baron worked in programming for music radio stations. A cellist since childhood, music has remained central to her artistic identity throughout.

She built a career on stage, on screen and in radio drama — including roles for TF1, France 3 and M6, and stage appearances at Scènes du Golfe in Brittany. An early experience working for Disney in the United States gave her both an international grounding and fluency in English; she also speaks Spanish.

She first turned to writing for the stage, before writing and directing her debut short film Bichette (2026). Blending dark comedy and absurdism around the aftermath of trauma, the film is currently on the festival circuit. Her writing continues to explore recurring themes of women's bodies, identity and resilience.
