I, Yusuf Özhan Tali, was born and raised in Berlin. My family comes from Turkey. I grew up bilingual, which is why Turkish and German are my native languages. I also speak English
well. My love of acting comes from my childhood. I love art, and in order to live and exist in this world, I have to make art.
In Berlin, I attended Christian Wewerka's non-acting class, where I learned the Strasberg and Meisner techniques.
I lived in Istanbul for a while and completed a three-year training course at the TiyatroTeras drama school. Then I trained in Paris for a while with Jack Waltzer, who is from the Actors Studio. After that, I started training with Lola Cohen in Paris, who is from the Lee Strasberg Institute, and was therefore also in New York. In New York, I was able to attend classes taught by my teacher at the Lee Strasberg Institute.
I specialized in the Strasberg method. I performed in theatre for six years. The play Let's Have Sex in Istanbul was a turning point for me. I have acted in several short films. The short films Drop of Sugar and La naturaleza invertida de un nacimiento were particularly important for me.

I also appeared in two feature films. İlker Çatak's feature film Yellow Letters was a special experience.
I advocate the philosophy of character acting and will always defend it. I love my work and it is very personal to me. I defend every character I play at all costs.

For me, every time I work on a new character, it's like embarking on a new journey. I love working on different characters. I love discovering and embodying these different people within me.  It's not just a job, it's a way of life.
In my work, I strive for authenticity and truth. Apart from acting, I also enjoy painting and love to dance.
