/From 1991 to 1994, Birgitta Weizenegger completed her acting training at Theater der Keller in Cologne. Afterwards, she worked as an actress at various theaters, including Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, Stadttheater Ingolstadt, and Neue Schaubühne München, before gaining recognition in 1999 for her role as "Ines  in the ARD television series Lindenstraße. Weizenegger portrayed this character until 2011.

After nearly twelve years on a television series, it was important for Birgitta to take a break and seek new challenges. She developed the project "From Idea to Premiere" to provide practical insights into various film production careers to students living outside of media centers.

More than 100 short films were produced, ranging from 5 to 60 minutes in length, encompassing both documentary and fictional genres. The 25-minute documentary film with reenactments received an Honorable Mention in the Documentary Education section at the Munich Documentary Film Festival.
